Indian Peaks District is part of the Longs Peak Council, Boy Scouts of America which includes Boulder and Weld Counties north of Denver Colorado.

The Indian Peaks District was created in January 2009 when the Longs Peak Council, Boy Scouts of America realigned all district boundaries. Indian Peaks District was once part of the Arapahoe District that included the Longmont and Boulder areas. Indian Peaks now covers the cities of Boulder, Louisville, Lafayette, Erie, Superior, and Nederland.

Volunteers Needed for Day Camp

We’re still looking for rangemasters for our BB gun ranges at day camp. In order to volunteer in this role, you must complete Rangemaster Training.

Denver Area Council will offer Rangemaster Training on two dates, Saturday March 18 and Saturday May 20, 2017. The time is 8:00 – 12:00. The location is Denver Area Council (DAC) HQ, 10455 West 6th Ave, Denver, CO 80215. The cost is $10.00 per participant. Go the DAC web site to register for the classes.

Boy Scout Spring Camporee

Cub Scout Day Camp – T-Shirt Design Contest!

It’s Groundhogs Day! That means it’s time to start planning your “Cub Scout Summer”!! A great way to get started is by entering the Day Camp T Shirt Design Contest!!Download the flyer here.

On June 9th and 10th, our Indian Peaks Cub Scouts will enter the “CSI:Cub Scout Investigations Academy:
 
They may investigate WHAT the animals ate, or WHO took the cookies from the cookie jar, or maybe even HOW the police analyse handwriting and fingerprints.  Planning is underway now, come to Roundtable for more information!!
