H1N1 Flu Memo

While we have had no incidences of the H1N1 Influenza at the Ben Delatour Scout Ranch, the staff at the BDSR is working closely with the Larimer County Health Department to keep our facility clear of any flu like illnesses. Please read the following memo.

Training News

National Youth Leadership Training

The 2009 NYLT has been cancelled because there were not enough participants.

"We apologize to the 13 Scouts that had signed up for NYLT by June 1. For Scouts wanting to register in 2010, it would be very helpful to sign up before the deadline."

 

NEW New Leader Training

The BSA announced that New Leader Essentials has been replaced by the new online training "This is Scouting".

Hazardous Weather Safety

The BSA has a new Online course: Planning and Preparing for Hazardous Weather.

Effective for tours on January 1, 2009, at least one adult must have completed this course.

Merit Badge Counselors

We have completed the initial split of Merit Badge Counselor lists to the New Districts.

See the Merit Badge Counselor link on your District home page.

Troops should have received a listing of counselors affiliated with their Troop in April. Please update the listings and return them to your DE at your May Roundtable, or to the Greeley Office.

Thanks for your help in keeping our MBC lists current!
