100 Years of Scouting The Longs Peak Council delivers Scouting programs that develop character, citizenship, fitness and leadership skills to youth in northeastern Colorado, southeastern Wyoming and western Nebraska.

Cub Scouts - For boys in 1st through 5th grade.

Boy Scouts - For boys 11 years old through high school - outdoor oriented.

Venturing - For 14-21 year old guys and girls - adventure oriented.

* District Realignment
Effective January 1, 2009, the Longs Peak Council's 6 former Districts are realigned as 9 new Districts.

* District Websites
The following new Districts have their new websites set up:
 
* ScoutMail
Sorry - ScoutMail for the New Districts is not ready. We'll send Council ScoutMail (by mid-January?) with instructions on how to re-subscribe in your new District.
You will continue to receive ScoutMail from your old District through January.
 
* Merit Badge Counselors
It will take some time to get the Council/BSA database converted to the new District alignment. Watch for more details on 2009 Merit Badge Counselor re-registration in February.
 
FOR NOW - please continue to access the lists from the "Old District" Merit Badge Counselor pages.
 
* Unit Locators
Basic information about which units are in which Districts is available in the New District Unit Locator Pages.
The Additional information which you entered through the "Your Unit Info" page will also be available soon.
 
* Unit Passwords
Unit Passwords (and access to private info) have not been copied to the new Districts yet, but will be available soon.

Due to budget cuts the Scottsbluff office will only be open from 12:30-5:30 Mon-Thurs (closed Fridays).
 
* Lafayette Office
Due to budget cuts the Lafayette office will only be open from 11:00-5:00 Tues-Fri (closed Mondays).
 
* Philmont Scout Ranch
Now available: Height/weight requirements for backpacking and hiking at Philmont.
 
* Eagle Scout Scholarship
The NESA Eagle Scout scholarships applications have changed. Only the new forms will be acepted.
